John H. Boner Community Center Receives NFL Grassroots Program Grant
The John H. Boner Community Center will receive a $200,000 grant from the Indianapolis Colts as part of the National Football League Grassroots Program, it was announced today. The grant, awarded by the Colts, the NFL Youth Football Fund and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), is part of $2.5 million in field refurbishment awards allocated this year. It will be used to install a synthetic turf playing field at Arsenal Technical High School.

Allison Melangton Named President and CEO of 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee
Allison Melangton, currently Senior Vice-President of the Indiana Sports Corporation, will serve as President & CEO of the Host Committee, which has dubbed itself "Our2012SB.com" to match its web address. Melangton has played a leadership role in planning and executing dozens of major championship events, including NCAA Men's and Women's Final Fours, Big Ten Championships, Olympics Trials, World Basketball and Swimming Championships and more. She is also a three-time Emmy-winning producer of NBC's coverage of the Summer Olympics.
