The Indianapolis 2012 Host Committee has proudly partnered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful to raise awareness and inspire tree planting across Indiana. Our goal is to maximize the impact and excitement surrounding the Near Eastside Legacy Project, so we’ve launched a tree planting initiative; to plant 2,012 trees by 2012, the Super Bowl year. We’ve already planted 902 trees, so although much has been accomplished, there is still much to do with just four prime planting seasons remaining. We plan on planting the last tree on the Arsenal Tech campus, as part of the celebration of Tech's 100 Year Anniversary. Participating is fun and rewarding, so don’t just watch from the sidelines, get in the game! Click here 2,102 Trees By 2012 to receive progress updates and details on upcoming planting events.
